Branch Visit in Juhu

Juhu Suburb
2 Day Attachment at Citibank Juhu Branch

I went to Juhu to visit a branch there. Anjanna, the branch manager was very nice. She gave me comprehensive overview of how the branch functions and also an orientation of the branch itself. I discovered many things from this visit.

Citibank Juhu Branch

I took a walk around the bank during lunch. I took photos of Amitabh Bachan's house, which surprisingly was just next to the branch! I dropped by at JW Marriott. This hotel is top-notched. It has a pool which overlooks the sea. Reminds me of one the fine resorts in Phuket. Bombay Baking Company is here. Reputed to be one of the finest eatery and where many Bollywood stars hang out at. However, I didn't get to see any but the beautiful people in here explains itself.

Took a walk around Juhu after work. Anjanna said there's a cyber cafe down the street. I walked and I walked but found nothing. Instead, there was a market and a small neighbourhood shopping street where i get to see the locals doing their daily stuffs. Obviously, i tried to be as local as possible to avoid being stared at.

I then went to Juhu beach to catch the sunset. It was beautiful. The beach was starting to get busy in the evening. They don't swim, i observed. Mostly, they go to the beach for a walk and to eat. It has some sort of a carnival atmosphere there. There was even a mini ferris wheel and a carousal (did i spell that correctly?)

I took the 3-wheeler back to the hotel. First time, i saw school children. The driver told me that it was the school break because of Diwali (Deepavali) and they have returned to school last Monday.

As usual, fumes and fumes of carbon monoxide before finally in the safe haven of the hotel!
